IP Telephony Sr. Network Engineer - CCIE

As a member of the Cisco IP Telephony team, The IP Telephony Sr. Network Engineer represents the highest level of technical expertise, experience and professionalism within our organization. This position requires core competency expertise in network assessment focusing on Cisco’s architecture for voice, video, and integrated data. IP Telephony Sr. Network Engineer manages all phases of project lifecycle, including pre-sales consulting, design/architecture, documentation, implementation, project management and support. IP Telephony Sr. Network Engineer must effectively engage all levels of client management .
A successful applicant requires configuration and support knowledge of VOIP gateways (CMM, 3800/2800, 3600/2600, 6608, VG-224/248) to support multiple PSTN/PBX connection types ( PRI, T1 CAS, FXO) and control protocols (H.323, MGCP). He/She should have strong practical background of switching and routing in LAN/WAN environment. Candidate should be well versed in caveats and/or dependencies of related technologies.
** MUST HAVE Cisco Certified InterNetwork Expert Certification CCIE
- Experience in Installation, configuring and support of CallManager 3.1 to 4.1 and Unity 3.0 to 4.0 and IPCC in MCS-7835, MCS-7825 and other platforms.
- End-to-end QOS knowledge across a Cisco LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Unity Integration with Exchange and Domino.
- Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) Implementation.
- Callmanager/Unity connectivity knowledge with other PBXs.
- IP Telephony project management skills including design, implementation, remote management and detailed documentation.
- Knowledge on PIX, VPN and security.
- Minimum 3 Years technical experience.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- May require some travel.
