Cisco Offers Acquisition of Tandberg
Video Conferencing

Houston, TX – Oct 02, 2009 – Today, TANDBERG and Cisco announced that Cisco has made an offer to acquire all outstanding shares of TANDBERG. This proposed acquisition would combine TANDBERG's best-in-class video conferencing portfolio with Cisco's world-class collaboration architecture and network capabilities.
 

Channel partners are critical to both Cisco's and TANDBERG's respective businesses and both companies have significantly invested in their channel programs over the last few years. These programs have been a major contributor to each achieving a leadership position. Following the close of this acquisition we will continue to build on these investments and develop a joint partner program that leverages the skills and experience of our combined partner networks.

Moving forward, our diverse mix of partners worldwide will continue to be critical to the success of the combined company. With a combined channel network, TANDBERG's Video Conferencing and Audio Visual partners will be invaluable in helping to broaden the appeal of Cisco's solutions portfolio and a welcome addition to their channel. Systems Integrators and Service Providers will also benefit from a stronger global services and delivery model.

The combination of TANDBERG and Cisco will create an organization that will yield significant new opportunities for partners to sell a broader range of products and grow their businesses. Together with our partners, we believe we can drive explosive growth in this market.

Whilst this acquisition is an exciting opportunity for all of us, it will require approval from antitrust authorities in some jurisdictions. During the antitrust review period, there will be strict limits on how Cisco and TANDBERG and our respective channel partners can engage. Until the close of the transaction, neither company may engage in joint account planning either directly or through partners.

Provided appropriate governmental approvals are received and Cisco acquires TANDBERG, TANDBERG products will be available on Cisco's pricelist and qualified channel partners will be able to sell both Cisco and TANDBERG joint offerings under an integrated channel program.

DataVox Wins Cisco Service Partner of the Year at  2009 Cisco Partner Summit

Houston, TX – June 3, 2009 – DataVox announced today that it is the recipient of a Cisco Partner Summit regional award for Cisco Service Partner of the Year, South Region. Cisco unveiled the winners June 3 at its annual partner conference in Boston.

This specialization recognizes Cisco Gold Partner DataVox as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy and support Cisco routing and switching solutions.

Houston Business Journal Honors DataVox in Multiple Categories for Fastest Growing Companies

As published in the Houston Business Journal September 14, 2007, DataVox, Inc. has been selected as a recipient of the Houston Fast 100 Award. The Houston Fast 100 Award, sponsored by the Houston Business Journal, recognizes 100 of the fastest growing companies in Houston as measured by percentage of revenue growth from 2004 to 2006.

In addition to the coveted Houston Fast 100, the Houston Business Journal also selected DataVox as one of this year’s FastTech 50 companies. The Energy Policy Act of 2005

As a courtesy to our clients, we would like to make you aware of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
The Energy Policy Act changes the dates for Daylight Saving Time in the United States. In 2007, Daylight Saving Time
begins on the second Sunday in March and ends the first Sunday in November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to resume the 2005 Daylight Saving Time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete. This law takes effect March 1, 2007.

Due to the new Energy Policy Act of 2005 Day Light Saving Time has been changed this year. This change can have an impact on various Avaya, Toshiba and Cisco products.

As a customer of DataVox, you have a couple of options:

  • Administer the changes through utilizing your own internal IT resources.

  • Engage DataVox to make the adjustments for a nominal fee.
