Open Position for Marketing Events Assistant

Salary Range: $19.00 To 21.00 Hourly

What You’ll Do:
This position will challenge a dynamic and creative individual to assist in the development and implementation of lead generating events in a Business-to-Business market.

  • Assisting in coordinating of marketing events including trade shows, customer events, golf tournaments, and partner training sessions.
  • Assist with researching event catering and supplies needed for event.
  • Assisting with event set up/take down of events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department and add input on potential marketing tactics/ideas.
  • Assist with creating monthly internal newsletter.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

What You Need:

  • 1+ years of administrative and/or event coordination in a corporate environment is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel specifically) required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different communication styles.
  • Superior organization and time management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
