Solutions Architect – End User Computing

Location: Houston, TX

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workstation hardware that enables them to drive an engagement at the Executive level as well as with IT architects. This candidate will also be a self-starter who is customer focused and results driven.   • Ability to talk about technical subjects and deliver technical presentations to a wide array of audiences
  • Will utilize technical proficiency in a customer facing environment
  • Ability to consult with customers, understand their application and business requirements and recommend the appropriate solution to meet the requirements
  • Design solutions that meet the business requirement. That includes building product configurations and developing scopes of work.
  • Leadership capabilities to assist in managing additional technical resources for meeting the account needs
  • Ability to work successfully with prospects, customers, and cross functional teams to meet sales goals
  • Manage the end to end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners
  • Manage and maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline of opportunities
  • Will travel to prospective customer sites as necessary
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • 1-3 years of relevant technical or sales experience required
  • Technical experience with Microsoft, Apple, Dell, HP or Lenovo end user compute (PC) solutions
  • Help desk support would be relevant experience but not a requirement
  • Desire to learn multiple solutions across a wide range of enterprise, end user computing
  • Ability to lead demos, proof-of-value for customers
  • Ability to develop high-level designs to ensure smooth transition from design to delivery
  • Ability to assist customers and account team with understanding and architecting appropriate solutions
