Social Media Specialist DataVox is seeking a Social Media Specialist to work closely with the Senior Director of Marketing to grow our brand in the Houston and Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing social media platforms to increase traffic and brand recognition. In addition, have excellent communication skills, ability to analyze information, and think outside of the box. Job Responsibilities:
  • Experience leading successful social media campaigns from beginning to end.
  • Interacts with social media networks like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. to troubleshoot and optimize activities.
  • Continually enhance and update all social media sites and blogs for which they are responsible. Track growth and effectiveness of social media campaigns.
  • Daily maintenance of all social media sites including generating new, engaging content.
  • Monitor, assess, and report social media analytics and results.
  • Knowledge of social media scheduling software required.
  • Monitors the effectiveness and success of online initiatives using proper assessment tools, generating detailed daily, weekly and monthly reports in order to refine the content of the social strategy.
  • Monitors and tracks discussion topics for management team; prepares regular internal reports including inputting social metrics in the Marketing Trackers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related is required
  • At least 4-5 years of social media management experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different communication styles
  • Superior organization and time management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience with using social media software and other analytics required
  • Clear background and MVR required
