In line with our corporate social responsibility initiatives, we have implemented the following measures:
Embracing Hybrid Work to Reduce Emissions
As part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, DataVox has embraced a hybrid work model, which allows employees to work from home or at the office. This flexible approach reduces greenhouse gas emissions from employee commutes, contributing to cleaner air and reduce traffic congestion. Since kickstarting our hybrid work model in 2020, we decreased our company fleet vehicle mileage by 10 percent. We also are able to leverage our own in-house expertise in unified communications and collaboration technologies, a seamless hybrid work experience to our employees’ continued productivity and efficiency while working remotely. DataVox plans to continue to reduce scope 1 emissions by an additional 10% by 2030
Implementing a Recycling Program
DataVox is committed to reducing waste and promoting recycling at our facilities. We have implemented a comprehensive recycling program, ensuring proper disposal and recycling of paper, plastic, glass, and other materials. This initiative helps conserve natural resources, saves energy, and reduces pollution from waste, demonstrating our dedication to environmental stewardship. DataVox plans to reduce single use plastics by 50% by 2030.
Removing water Bottles and Installing a Bevi Water Machine
To minimize plastic waste and promote a sustainable water supply, DataVox has removed single-use water bottles from our offices and installed a Bevi water machine. The Bevi machine provides employees with fresh, filtered water and customizable flavored beverages – reducing the environment impact associated with the production and disposal of plastic bottles. Since installing the Bevi machine, we have saved 23,120 bottles of water. This initiative is consistent with our efforts to provide innovative, eco-friendly solutions for our clients and employees.
Investing in Wetland Restoration on Company Properties
DataVox recognizes the importance of preserving and restoring wetlands, as they play a crucial role in supporting biodiversity and maintaining water quality. As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship, we have invested in wetland restoration projects on our company properties. These efforts support local ecosystems, promote cleaner water, and help mitigate climate change through carbon sequestration.
